Meeting Matthew Goodfellow the author of 'The Final Year' which has been the book we have been reading this term.
We were visited by reception and we read to them!
In the afternoon our classroom was transformed into a bistro for a book tasting experience. We discovered new books we had never read before!
We had an AMAZING time celebrating World Book Day in 6B!
Take a look at what we got up to throughout the day:
After assembly, we were lucky enough to took part in a live zoom session with author of 'The Final Year', Matt Goodfellow.
'We are authors!' The next part of the day was set aside so we could write for pleasure!
Then we made some reading buddies! Children from 2A and 6B had the opportunity to read with each other. It was fantastic!
Finally, we explored our own reading identity!
