We had a great day celebrating World Book Day in Year 2! Here are some pictures of our wonderful costumes as well as some of the activities that we got up to!
Activity 1
Let's go on an adventure- The children worked as a group to create different adventure stories.
Activity 2
Bookmark origami- The children used their paper folding skills to create a origami bookmark.
Activity 3
Book scavenger hunt- The children had a list of words and pictures that they had to find in the mountain of books that were provided.
Activity 4
Who am I?- Using the clues, the children had to identify which fairytale character was being described.
Activity 5
Comic strips- The children created cartoon comic strips based on their favourite stories.
