Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee
Celebrating 70 years of Queen Elizabeth.
English Martyrs' have celebrated Queen Elizabeth's jubilee by taking a trip through the decade of her reign. Each class were given a decade to focus on (starting in the 1950s in year 6 all the way down to 2010 in Reception).
We learnt about key events, music and culture in our assigned decade and we dressed up in clothes from that decade.
In the afternoon, we had a street party in our playground and performed a dance or song from the decade we had been learning about - it was so much fun!
We even had a special visitor...does she look familiar?
