World Book Day 2023!

At the beginning of World Book Day we had a vocabulary parade. We really enjoyed looking at everyone's costumes! We read the story 'The Word Collector' and discussed how powerful words are.
We then wrote funny stories, we enjoyed sharing our stories with our class. We love creative writing.
Then, with the help of Joseph Coelho, we wrote MORERAPS poems. We have been writing poems in English and it was so fun to use our knowledge to write a poem about our favourite book.
After that, we played a world book day quiz and 'World Cup of Books' game. In this game, we picked our new class novel: Artemis Fowl. We are so excited to read it in the Summer Term!
