Year 1
Maya created a moving toy this spring term. Maya enjoyed the 'making' stage the most and said she "really liked creating planets and stars to make her toy look like space". We created toys based on the book 'A field trip to the moon'. We used a dowel, a spool and string to create the moving spaceship!
Zayyan in 1B made an elephant hand puppet. He designed and planned the colours and features he would use. Zayyan used a running stitch to sow the parts together. Zayyan made his product for young children because "children love playing and making new characters in stories". Well done Zayyan!
