Ruth
Ruth is a woman who is widowed and then remains with her mother-in-law rather than returning to her own people. She is a symbol of abiding loyalty and devotion. Ruth's story is told in the Book of Ruth. The story is celebrated during the festival of Shavuot, the feast of weeks, 50 days after Passover.
We acted out her story.
