The aim of the award is to show our school is committed to creating a culture of welcome, understanding and belonging for those forced to flee.
We are already meeting a lot of the criteria for this award, this is part of our Live Simply Award. (please see our webpage for this)
The School of Sanctuary network supports the thousands of children and young people seeking sanctuary in the UK, it raises awareness of the experiences of people seeking safety, and plays a key role in building a culture of education, kindness and compassion.
