Refugee Week in Reception
This week Reception took part in Refugee Week! We talked about what a refugee is and how someone becomes a refugee. We read the story ‘There’s a Boy Just like me’ and discussed what happens to refugees.
We took part in activities and reflected on how we would feel if we had to leave our home country and what we might pack if we needed to leave home. We talked about what we can do to help refugees and what they need to be happy and healthy.
