The Season of Advent
The Advent Season is the time of waiting and preparing for the coming of Jesus. This refers both to the anniversary celebration of the Incarnation, as well as the second and final coming for which we are waiting and preparing for.
The Liturgical Colours of Advent are Purple and Rose, with Rose being used only on the third Sunday of Advent.
