No Pens Day Wednesday

On Wednesday 15th October it was ‘No Pens Day Wednesday’, which meant that neither the pupils nor the teachers could use pens for one whole day! It was an excellent opportunity to develop our communication skills, and we enjoyed lots of exciting and unusual activities. Take a look at some photos of these below:

Boneyard Rap
We performed ‘The Boneyard Rap’ by Wes Magee as a whole class.

We then staged a debate on whether children should be allowed mobile phones in school. There were strong opinions on both sides of the argument!

Next, we tried our hand at origami and made some wonderful pots to store precious items.

Finally, Miss O’Keefe treated us to a lesson in ballet, which, as a French style of dance, fitted in nicely with our topic this term.
